Life can feel like spinning plates. Keeping everything going can be exhilarating but also exhausting. As an adoptive single parent of two bright, feisty, fun loving, beautiful little girls, Vicky can identify with how hectic life can get. Caring for, and loving children who have had a tricky start in life is not always easy, but it is totally worth it!.

After growing up in Ashford, Vicky moved to Cambridge and trained as a social worker. Her career began in children's services where her work focused on how to help, support and protect vulnerable children and struggling families. She learned the crucial role that Foster Parents have in the lives of children. Their survival, their sense of the world, ability thrive and realise their potential comes from the foundation that the adults around them create for them. Armed with a vision, sense of humour, and a dogged determination to look for the rainbow in the rain, Vicky is passionate about supporting Foster Parents in this task.
