Fostering in Kent & Essex with Diverse Care
If you are an existing Foster Parent looking to transfer or are newly interested in fostering as a career, we invite you to attend one of our upcoming Information Days in Kent and Essex.
Why foster with us?
FOUNDED AND RUN BY FOSTER PARENTS: Diverse Care is a family, not a big corporation - virtually all of us have first hand experience of fostering.
HIGH INCOME: We pay you between £400 - £700 per week per child. All our families receive 21 nights paid respite per year. At Diverse Care you get paid on time, every time.
When you foster a child, you make a professional choice that carries both respect and responsibility, and therefore deserves a professional level of pay.
A RELIABLE PARTNER: If you need anything, we're here for you, 24 hours a day. We also do monthly home visits, monthly group supervisions, weekly phone calls and a comprehensive training programme.
Nobody can foster alone, so it’s important that your fostering organisation listens and understands you.
Ofsted find us to have “inspirational, visionary leadership, joyful authentic warmth and tangible passion” ...we're good people to have on your side.
QUALITY: Everyone who works at Diverse Care recognises that what Foster Parents do on a day-to-day basis is incredible. So it’s only fair that we hold ourselves to the same standard.
...whilst also throwing a spectacular black tie Christmas party for our Foster Parents every year!
Upcoming Information Days
We could write tons on what we do and how we do it, but we’d much rather meet you in person! Why not come along to one of our open days and chat to our friendly experts who will be able to answer any questions you may have about a career in fostering. Experienced foster families can also find out what is involved in the transfer process.
Drop in at any time between the hours specified below.

What other people say about us
"It was like I was being made not an employee but part of a big family. I am so happy with my life and I feel like I am finally doing what I was made to do"
Stuart, Foster Parent with Diverse Care
"I lost my husband this year and the love and support I received from everyone at Diverse Care was brilliant. They helped me through what will probably be the hardest time in my life. I have since been re-approved as a single Foster Parent and have now
started to foster again with Diverse Care."
Kathy, Foster Parent with Diverse Care
"As an Independent Reviewing Officer, I am always pleased when young people are placed with carers from this agency, because I know it will be a placement which will seek to provide a sense of permanency and belonging, which will support young people
to be the best they can be."
London Borough of Lewisham
