General Information about Becoming a Carer

  • You can be single, married or living with
    a partner
  • Whether you have children of your own
    or not
  • In or out of work
  • Whatever your race, religion or gender

Diverse Care foster parents come from all walks of life, bringing with them a range of experiences, which are essential to becoming a successful carer.

If you're a plumber, nurse or even a politician, we will take your skills and use them as a way to develop your career.

You do not need any formal qualifications, as all training is provided, so as long as you have a spare room and the dedication required we can help you to change a child's life.

If you are an existing foster carer and meet our standards, we can process your transfer or if you have never fostered before, you can read about our process on the right.
